Wednesday 10th September - First fight-week face-off

Fight week officially gets underway when the two fighters come face-to-face for the first time in the early hours of Wednesday 10th September.

Of course, proceedings will take place a lot earlier local time, but with Las Vegas being eight hours behind British Summer Time (BST), plenty of the fight-week action will fall into the early hours of the following morning for boxing fans on home shores.

Thursday 11th September - Open workout

Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn will cast their eyes on one another as they fine-tune their preparations for the big fight at their open workouts on Thursday.

The pair will spend around 15 minutes each inside the ring, showcasing the qualities and undertaking some light work with their respective coaches.

Friday 12th September - Press conference

Conor Benn has made it clear in no uncertain terms that he is in Las Vegas to win, and you can expect plenty of verbal assaults when he and Garcia undertake their final press conference on Friday.

The welterweight rivals have been at each other for quite some time now, both in person and on social media, and you can be sure that Benn, especially, will attempt to further get himself under his American opponent's skin in front of the watching media.

Saturday 13th September - Weigh-in

The public weigh-in will allow fans and media to get one last look at the two men before they make their way to the ring the following evening.

Whilst the official weigh-in will take place earlier in the day, behind closed doors, the two fighters will then undertake a ceremonial weigh-in around 24 hours prior to the fight, which will be shown live.

Both fighters will have to adhere to a strict 147lbs weight limit, with the fight likely to be in jeopardy if any of the pair tilt the scales any higher than that.

Sunday 14th September - Ringwalks expected at 04:00 (BST)

All the fight week festivities come down to Saturday night -- early hours of Sunday in the UK -- when Garcia and Benn finally meet inside the ring.

The bout is set to go ahead as a fully-sanctioned WBC welterweight world championship contest over 12 three-minute rounds, and both fighters will be required to wear standard 10oz gloves.

While the exact start time will be dependent on the length of the undercard bouts, the main event fighters are expected to make their way to the ring around 04:00 (BST).
