Following thrashings at the hands of Saracens and Northampton Saints, Bristol Bears' tough run looks set to continue when they host West Country rivals Bath at Ashton Gate on Friday evening.
Pat Lam's Bristol were looking for a response following their 41-26 home defeat at the hands of Saracens when they took the field last time out at Northampton Saints.
However, the Bears went on to leave the car park at Franklin’s Gardens following a harrowing 94-33 thrashing by the Saints.
While Bristol will be hoping to restore some pride back in the jersey on Friday night, it certainly won’t be easy against the reigning Gallagher Prem champions.
Best Bet - Bath -10.5 handicap @ 10/11
Alternative Bet - Over 62.5 total points @ 5/6
Bet Builder - Henry Arundell, Joe Cokanasiga & Kalaveti Ravouvou anytime tryscorers @ 11/2
Best Bet: Bath -10.5 handicap @ 10/11
Bath will be brimming with confidence heading into this match following their 69-12 demolition job on the Newcastle Red Bulls at The Recreation Ground.
The Blue, Black & Whites may have already guaranteed their place in the play-offs but they will be determined to finish as high as possible to secure the best seeding.
It's hard to see where the Bears go after their humiliating defeats to Saracens and Northampton.
Lam is an experienced coach but even all his know-how might not help them at Ashton Gate on Friday night.
Bath are missing star fly-half Finn Russell, but even in his absence from the No.10 jersey, the Blue, Black & Whites have more than enough firepower to make it five wins on the bounce against Bristol and cover the handicap in the process.
Alternative Bet: Over 62.5 total points @ 5/6
Given where this Bristol side is right now, especially in terms of their defence, another high-scoring game looks to be in the offing here.
The Bears have conceded 135 points in just their last two games and, with the threats Bath have in the wide channels, it's hard to see Bristol keeping the scoreline down.
With that in mind, going for the over 62.5 total points gets the green light here.
Henry Arundell anytime tryscorer

Kalaveti Ravouvou anytime tryscorer

For a three-fold bet builder, the trio of Henry Arundell, Joe Cokanasiga are Kalaveti Ravouvou are all backed in the anytime tryscorer market.
With 22 tries in 24 appearances for club and country, Arundell is tipped to add another try to his collection, as is his Bath team-mate Cokanasiga, who scored against Bristol when they met earlier this season in the Prem.
Meanwhile, Ravouvou has scored five tries in his last five appearances and it backed to continue that form on Friday night.
