Warrington Wolves v Hull KR Prediction, Tips and Bet Builder

The Super League Grand Final is just two weeks away and both Warrington Wolves and Hull KR will be targeting a place in the Old Trafford showpiece.

It is eight years since Warrington were last involved in the title-decider, while Hull KR have made it to the Manchester showpiece in each of the last two seasons.

The Robins lost to Wigan in their inaugural appearance but avenged that narrow defeat in 2024 as they defeated the same opponents to become champions for the first time in the Super League era.

Warrington Wolves v Hull KR

Warrington Wolves v Hull KR Prediction

Best Bet: Warrington to win by 1-12 points @ 13/8

Warrington's wait to be crowned rugby league's champions ticked over into an eighth decade this year, but the Wolves may be confident of plotting a path to this year's Grand Final at Old Trafford.

A red-hot start was followed by a mid-season blip from Sam Burgess's men, but the Wire finished the season strongly even if the battle for the League Leaders' Shield between Wigan Warriors and Leeds Rhinos garnered most attention.

Warrington go into the play-offs on the back of eight wins in their last 10 and a home date with defending champions Hull KR is less fearsome than it might have been at the start of the season.

Rovers waltzed off with all three trophies last season before adding the World Club Challenge to their cabinet in the spring, but the Robins' Super League defence has invariably stuttered along and they won only one of their final five regular-season matches.

That includes a six-point defeat to Warrington, who will travel to Headingley to face Leeds in the semi-finals if they are victorious on Saturday.

Rovers, meanwhile, would face an imperious Wigan side in their own backyard having ended the regular season in sixth place.

The momentum is very much with Warrington and they are taken to end Hull KR's reign with a narrow success at the Halliwell Jones.

Alternative Bet: Successful drop goal - Yes @ 11/4

By their very nature, play-off games are often tight.

The stakes at play and the fact that autumn brings with it cooler, and sometimes wetter, conditions, means teams tend to take a more risk-averse approach.

There were 15 drop goals scored in the regular season and it would not be a surprise if there were at least a couple of successful one-pointers during the post-season.

If the game is as tight as expected, moving two scores ahead is a real advantage late on.

Warrington Wolves v Hull KR Bet Builder Tip

  • Warrington Wolves to win

  • Albert Hopoate anytime tryscorer

  • Five or six total match tries

    Pays 15/2

Only Leeds have managed to beat Warrington on their own patch in Super League this season and the Halliwell Jones faithful could be celebrating again on Saturday evening.

While the Wolves won 12 of their 13 regular-season outings on home turf, the Robins' away record was pretty indifferent, with them winning six and losing seven of their 13 league assignments on the road.

Augment a home win with a try for Wire back Albert Hopoate, who has adapted well to playing on the wing having been shifted onto the edge from his usual home at centre due to injuries.

Hopoate has scored 15 tries in 26 league appearances, including a double in last month's win at Hull KR.

For the final leg of our same-game multi, take a chance that there will be either five or six tries scored in Saturday's second Eliminator.

Play-off ties are always tight given the stakes and last season's five post-season matches yielded try totals of five, four, four, four and five.
