Wigan Warriors will look to build on their Challenge Cup final success when they take on Catalans Dragons in Super League on Saturday.
The Warriors won their 22nd Challenge Cup thanks to a resounding 40-10 success over Hull Kingston Rovers last week at Wembley.
Matty Peet's team will have barely had time to celebrate, but they are set to take part in another momentous occasion.
Saturday's tie against Catalans will take place at Stade Jean-Bouin in Paris, which is the home of rugby union giants Stade Francais.
With Super League trying to grow the game across France, both teams will look to put on a show.
Best Bet - Wigan Warriors -8.5 @ 1/1
Alternative Bet - Half-time/Full-time - Either team @ 1/1
Bet Builder - Jack Farrimond to score a try & Jai Field to score a try @ 9/2
Best Bet: Wigan Warriors -8.5 @ 1/1
Wigan will have no worries about travelling to France, although they may have preferred to play at the home of the Dragons in Perpignan.
The Cherry & Whites have won their last four away games against Catalans, with the French outfit last recording a home success against Wigan in March 2022.
A move to a neutral ground does not really benefit either side, but it certainly hinders the hosts.
Catalans have been so poor defensively of late and they have conceded 36.2 points per game on average in their last five outings.
Wigan have been relentless in attack and they should be able to build on the success of their Cup win.
Alternative Bet: Half-time/Full-time - Either team @ 1/1
Catalans have some individuals who can win a game on their own, but Wigan push teams to their limits from the first whistle.
Wigan have travelled without some key personnel, but they have been without some big names all season and still been competitive.
With Catalans conceding points at an alarming rate, it is tough to see Wigan struggling. Their defence has been resolute and on a neutral pitch, they should be able to win both halves.
Jack Farrimond to score a try
Jai Field to score a try
Pays 9/2
Bevan French is missing on Saturday as Wigan manage his minutes, while forward Sam Walters will start the first of his seven-game ban.
While those two will be missed, the form of Jack Farrimond has been impossible to ignore. He has elevated his game to new heights without the likes of French and Harry Smith around him this season and he has taken on a new leadership role.
Farrimond runs with power and speed from the halves and he should be able to spot gaps in this porous Catalans defence.
Field will be under pressure to take more of the workload in attack due to French's absence, but the conditions should suit him. Fast surfaces bring the best out of Field and he is a big-game player.
If anyone can crash over for a try, it is the superstar Aussie who will lead by example from full-back.
