Bradford Bulls v Wakefield Trinity Prediction, Tips and Bet Builder

There are just nine rounds of the Super League regular season remaining and the race for play-off places is gathering pace.

Leeds Rhinos hold a four-point lead at the top of the table, but there is a congested look below them with six sides battling it out for a top-six finish.

Wakefield Trinity are nicely placed in third spot following a fantastic run of form and they will fancy their chances of solidifying their claims when they make the short trip to Bradford.

The Bulls are 10 points adrift of Leigh Leopards in sixth, so their play-off claims look slim at best, but they got back to winning ways against Huddersfield Giants last week and will expect to remain competitive against their high-flying visitors this week.

Bradford Bulls v Wakefield Trinity Tips Summary

Best Bet - Wakefield -14 @ 1/1
Alternative Bet - Over 50 total match points @ 23/20
Bet Builder - Wakefield to win by 13 or more points, Waqa Blake to score a try & Caius Faatili to score a try @ 20/1

Bradford Bulls v Wakefield Trinity

Bradford Bulls v Wakefield Trinity Prediction

Best Bet: Wakefield -14 @ 1/1

Wakefield are one of the form sides in Super League following a run of seven wins from their last eight matches and they are right in the mix for a play-off place in third spot.

A top-six spot was the aim for Trinity, but even they must be surprised at their league position following 18 rounds of matches.

Only Wigan were too good for Wakey in that sequence, but two wins over reigning champions Hull KR - including last week's 20-6 success at Craven Park - suggest there could be more to come from Daryl Powell's side.

Wakefield's run to the end of the season looks a tough one with five of the top seven sides still to play in the next two months, so getting points on the board as soon as possible will be crucial.

This fixture at Bradford looks like one in which they can do that and backing Trinity to cover a 14-point handicap looks a good bet at evens.

Wakey have won their last three meetings with the Bulls and the most recent of those was a 52-12 success for Powell's side when they met in round eight on April 18.

A similar outcome can't be ruled out here, as although Bradford got back to winning ways last week, their 30-14 success came against bottom side Huddersfield and their four matches prior to that were all losses in which they conceded 34 points or more.

Alternative Bet: Over 50 total match points @ 23/20

Wakefield have been piling on the points, so backing this match to feature more than 50 could pay off.

Prior to last week's 20-6 win at Hull KR, four of Trinity's previous six fixtures had cleared that mark, while Bradford's last six matches finished with totals of 44, 66, 50, 58, 50 and 50 points.

The Bulls still have an outside chance of snatching a play-off place and they have been competitive in most of their matches this term.

It was 52-12 to Wakey when these two met earlier in this campaign and another lively encounter full of points can be expected.

Bradford Bulls v Wakefield Trinity Bet Builder Tip

  • Wakefield to win by 13 or more points

  • Waqa Blake to score a try

  • Caius Faatili to score a try

    Pays 20/1

Backing a comfortable Wakefield win looks a good opening leg for a three-leg bet builder and the price can be boosted by adding in two in-form tryscorers.

Waqa Blake scored twice in Bradford's win over the Giants, while Wakefield's Caius Faatili also bagged two tries in his side's stunning success over Hull KR.

Blake, playing in the centres, has scored eight tries in 14 matches this term, while prop Faatili has claimed seven and is almost unstoppable when close to the try line.
