Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town are in the hunt to sign Wealdstone midfielder Dylan Kadji this summer.
Kadji penned a two-year deal at Wealdstone last summer and was part of the team that reached the 2025/26 FA Trophy final.
He was also part of a side that started last season amongst the favourites to be relegated from the National League but they comfortably sealed their survival.
The 22-year-old made 48 appearances across all competitions as he proved to be one of the standout performers in the National League.
Football Insider have reported that his performances have caught the eye of the likes of Rotherham and Huddersfield.
The two clubs are believed to be working on deals along with Shrewsbury Town, while a number of other EFL clubs are also believed to have been monitoring the player.
Kadji progressed through the Bristol City academy and he made four appearances for the club before being released in the summer of 2024.
He dropped down the pyramid to play for sixth-tier side Weston-super-Mare prior to his success with Wealdstone at one level higher last season.
After biding his time, Kadji now looks set to have a second opportunity to establish himself in the football league.
Rotherham are amongst the League Two promotion favourites, while Huddersfield will be looking to challenge for a place in the League One play-offs next season.
