Ronnie O'Sullivan produced snooker perfection twice as he made two magical maximum 147 breaks in his Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters semi-final against Chris Wakelin.
After coming from 5-3 down to beat rival Kyren Wilson 6-5 in a thrilling quarter-final just 24 hours earlier, The Rocket wasted no time in getting straight back into the groove as he achieved perfection in the opening frame to delight the crowd in Jeddah, before then repeating the incredible feat when the scores were level at 3-3.
O'Sullivan has been improving with every performance throughout the 2025 Saudi Arabia Masters. As well as his comeback against Wilson on Thursday, the former world number one was also forced to battle from 5-2 down to secure a dramatic 6-5 victory against world number 104 Chang Bingyu in the last 16.
It was a record extending 16th and 17th 147 for the seven-time world champion and he moves four clear of John Higgins on 13. It was the first time he has achieved the milestone in a competitive match since the 2018 English Open against Allan Taylor.
