As the drivers descend on Zandvoort for the return of Formula 1 after the summer break, one driver won't be out on track this weekend due to injury.
Isack Hadjar sustained a hand injury during the month long hiatus, reportedly breaking a bone while boxing.
It remains to be seen how long the Frenchman will be out of action for, but Red Bull have had to take action for this weekend in the Netherlands, and a familiar face will be partnering Max Verstappen in the RB22.
The Frenchman will miss the final Formula 1 race at Zandvoort, with the circuit's contract not being renewed due to rising hosting costs.
Red Bull will welcome back Liam Lawson in the Netherlands, who steps up from Racing Bulls to fill the void left by Hadjar.
The Australian driver raced twice for the Austrian team at the beginning of the 2025 season before being demoted to Racing Bulls after disappointing in both races.
Lawson has seen his fortunes change for the better at Racing Bulls, achieving some strong results and remaining with the team for 2026 where he is a mentor figure to rookie Arvid Lindblad.
He will no doubt see this as a small shot at redemption, as he looks to atone for the ill-fated spell last year.
There is, of course, a seat to fill at Racing Bulls following Lawson's temporary promotion.
Step up Yuki Tsunoda, Red Bull's reserve driver for the season and someone who also has history with both Racing Bulls and their parent team.
The Japanese driver was a popular figure for AlphaTauri from 2021 to 2023, and remained with the team when they rebranded as RB Formula One Team in 2024.
He began the 2025 season with the team before being promoted to Red Bull to replace Lawson two races into the season.
The top brass at Red Bull decided he didn't live up to expectations and he was replaced by Isack Hadjar for 2026, becoming reserve driver for the team due to there being no available places on the grid.
