Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Djurgardens winger Oskar Fallenius.
TEAMtalk have reported that Rangers could move for the player in the January transfer window.
Rangers were interested in the 24-year-old winger ahead of the new season but they were unable to conclude a deal.
Fallenius' contract expires on New Year's Eve and Rangers could now have the opportunity to sign the player on a free transfer.
The versatile Swedish star has spent the last three seasons in the Allsvenskan with Djurgardens after arriving from Brondby in 2023.
He has made 83 appearances for the club and weighed in with seven goals in the process.
Rangers have recovered from a shaky start to the new season by winning their last six games in all competitions.
Manager Derek McInnes will be confident of sustaining a title challenge this season but he will want to tweak his squad in January to maximise their silverware chances.
Fallenius is capable of operating on either wing or in a central attacking midfielder position and his adaptability could be a benefit to Rangers in the second half of the season.
