Rangers produced an impressive dominant performance at Ibrox to claim bragging rights over Celtic and book their place in the Scottish League Cup semi-finals.

Cheered on by an electric home atmosphere, Rangers dominated the early proceedings and should have taken the lead on two occasions but the hosts failed to capitalise on mistakes by the Celtic goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
Derek McInnes' side didn't have to wait too long to break the deadlock as captain Dan Neil slotted home from the edge of the penalty area after being set up by Kevin Kelsy.
After turning provider for the opener, Kelsy netted his first Rangers goal with a smartly taken first-time volley to send Ibrox into raptures on 69 minutes.
Captain Neil sealed a magnificent victory for Rangers as he intercepted a clearance and curled a wonderful effort into the corner to send the blue half of Glasgow into dreamland.
Celtic failed to create any clear cut chances over the 90 minutes and Martin O'Neill will be hoping his side can put in a much better performance when they entertain Rangers in the Scottish Premiership next Sunday.
