Julien Stéphan and Alex Neil have named their teams ahead of the first round EFL Cup clash between Queens Park Rangers and Millwall at Loftus Road.
The two Championship sides will be aiming to make a winning start to their respective seasons with the EFL Cup kicking off the domestic action in the 2026/27 campaign.
QPR have failed to advance beyond the first round of the EFL Cup in three of the previous four seasons, while Millwall reached the third round last year before bowing out to Premier League side Crystal Palace on penalties.
Neil's Lions finished third in the Championship last term, missing out on automatic promotion by a point before suffering an agonising play-off semi-final defeat to Hull City, who subsequently reached the promised land of the Premier League by conquering Middlesbrough in the final at Wembley.
QPR's form nosedived at the end of the campaign, suffering four consecutive defeats to slump to 15th, but the R's hierarchy have kept faith with French tactician Stéphan for the upcoming season.
