Everything you need to know about the format of this year's Premier League Darts and whether any changes have been made for the latest staging of the competition.
The current format of the Premier League Darts sees eight players competing in a weekly knockout, where the result of every match counts.
At the start of each of the 16 regular weekly events, all eight players will compete in four quarter-finals with the winners progressing through to the semi-finals.
The two semi-final victors will then advance to the final, where the nightly winner and runner-up will be determined.
All eight players feature in the league-phase, meaning there are points on offer across all 16 weeks of action, with the nightly winner accumulating five points, the runner-up three points and the two losing semi-finalists two points.
Players beaten in the quarter-finals aren't allocated any points.
Each nightly winner will also receive an additional £10,000 bonus as well as a trophy, with the four players who have accrued the most points over 16 weeks advancing through to Finals Night.
All matches are played over 11 legs meaning there can't be any draws, with showdowns on Finals Night extending to a best-of-19-legs and best-of-21-legs format for the semi-finals and final.
Despite speculation that the 2026 Premier League Darts was set to undertake a revamp, the competition will undertake the same format as last year.
PDC CEO Matt Porter had hinted that changes could be afoot in December when discussing plans for the competition on the back of the decision to expand the field for the World Darts Championship.
"We always say that we do evaluate it and we will change it at some point, but we just feel at the moment the data shows us that this is the right format," he told Sky Sports.
"The crowds in the arenas love it, they love seeing a winner on the night, it keeps them entertained until the last dart, and the TV audience figures are great.
"So, we will make a decision as and when we feel that the format is tired."
