Penalty takers for all 20 Premier League clubs

Take a look at the penalty takers for all 20 Premier League clubs.

Premier League

Arsenal

Bukayo Saka/Viktor Gyokeres

Bukayo Saka is Arsenal's primary penalty taker and has stepped up on 13 occasions over the last five seasons, scoring 12 times.

Viktor Gyokeres however did take two penalties with Saka on the pitch last season, with penalty duties shared between the two.

Martin Odegaard is the most likely taker should Saka and Gyokeres be absent.

Aston Villa

Ollie Watkins

Aston Villa went the entirety of the 2025/26 campaign without a Premier League penalty, but Ollie Watkins would be expected to step up when the occasion arises. Should Watkins leave, Emi Buendia looks likely to step up.

Bournemouth

Eli Junior Kroupi/Marcus Tavernier

After the departure of Antoine Semenyo, Marcus Tavernier looked to have inherited spot-kicks, taking Bournemouth's next two, but Eli Junior Kroupi took the next two with Tavernier on the pitch for both.

Brentford

Igor Thiago

Brentford were awarded 10 penalties last season, and while Kevin Schade took (and missed) one, the rest were taken by Igor Thiago, who scored with eight out his nine efforts.

Brighton

Pascal Groß

Penalty-taking duties were split last season between Danny Welbeck (three), Matt O'Riley (one) and James Milner (one), but Pascal Groß is likely to take them for Brighton this time around.

Chelsea

Cole Palmer

Cole Palmer is Chelsea's primary penalty taker, though Enzo Fernandez serves as deputy in Palmer's absence, taking two Premier League spot-kicks last term.

Coventry

Haji Wright

Haji Wright took two of Coventry City's penalties in the Championship last season, with Matt Grimes, Victor Torp and Brandon Thomas-Asante taking the other three, though Wright wasn't on the pitch for any of them.

Crystal Palace

Jean-Philippe Mateta

Jean-Philippe Mateta took -- and scored -- four penalties for Crystal Palace last season, with Ismaila Sarr taking -- and scoring -- three in the Frenchman's absence.

Everton

Iliman Ndiaye

Everton were awarded just two penalties last season, with Iliman Ndiaye taking both.

Fulham

Antonee Robinson/Gonzalo Garcia

Fulham were awarded just one penalty last season that wasn't taken by the departed Raul Jimenez, and it was scored by Antonee Robinson, suggesting the American may be on spot-kick duties this season.

Gonzalo Garcia, who joined the club from Real Madrid for a reported £34m fee in the summer, will be keen to hit the ground running and could be assigned penalties by Alvaro Arbeloa.

Hull City

Oli McBurnie/Joe Gelhardt

Oli McBurnie took three of Hull City's penalties in the Championship with Joe Gelhardt taking the other two, though both took penalties with the other on the field and may share duties.

Ipswich Town

Jack Clarke

Ipswich Town were awarded 10 penalties in the Championship last season, and while George Hirst and Jaden Philogene took two each, Jack Clarke was the primary taker with six.

Leeds United

Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Lukas Nmecha took two penalties for Leeds last season, one with Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the pitch, but the former Everton man stepped up for five last term and should shoulder the responsibility.

Liverpool

Alexander Isak/Dominik Szoboszlai

With Mohamed Salah leaving at the end of last season, record signing Alexander Isak should step up this term, with Dominik Szoboszlai also entrusted with a spot kick last season.

Manchester City

Erling Haaland

Since moving to Manchester City, Erling Haaland has taken seven penalties, eight penalties, four penalties and four penalties, scoring 20 times from his 23 Premier League attempts.

Manchester United

Bruno Fernandes

While Bruno Fernandes has thrown the ball to team mates in the past, the Portuguese took all six penalties last season and will be the primary taker for Manchester United this.

Newcastle United

Nick Woltemade

Anthony Gordon took and scored nine penalties in all competitions last season with Bruno Guimaraes taking two. With Gordon and Guimaraes leaving, the responsibility may be passed to Nick Woltemade, who took one spot-kick last term and found the net in emphatic fashion.

Nottingham Forest

Morgan Gibbs-White/Igor Jesus/Chris Wood

Morgan Gibbs-White was Nottingham Forest's primary penalty taker last season, stepping up four times and scoring twice, though he and Igor Jesus both took penalties in the same game on one occasion. Chris Wood would likely take penalties when on the pitch, but turning 35 this year, he may be reduced to a bit-part role.

Sunderland

Enzo Le Fee

Enzo Le Fee took Sunderland's first four penalties last season, though Habib Diarra did take their most recent penalty with Le Fee on the pitch.

Tottenham

Dominic Solanke/Xavi Simons/Mohammed Kudus

Tottenham didn't receive a penalty in the Premier League last season, though Xavi Simons took two in Europe with Mohammed Kudus and Richarlison taking one each.

Fit-again Dominic Solanke would likely be the primary taker, but Spurs aren't short of options from 12 yards this season.
