Frazer Clarke has accepted a fight with a former world heavyweight champion on the undecard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua in December.
Widely regarded as a late bloomer in the professional boxing scene, Clarke made his debut in February 2022 against Jake Darnell -- where he emerged victorious in the first round via TKO.
His vast experience in the amateur game -- where he won bronze medal in the Men's Super Heavyweight category at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games -- meant that his ascend in the division was swift, fighting, and defeating, distinguished heavyweights Mariusz Wach and Dave Allen in just his seventh and eighth professional fights.
Since overcoming the 'White Rhino', however, 'Big Fraze' has lost three times and drawn once in six bouts, taking significant damage in both fights against Fabio Wardley and since coming up short against Jeamie Tshikeva and Justis Huni.
He returned to the ring with a TKO victory against Lamah Griggs in August, and he's eyeing a household heavyweight name on the Fury vs Joshua undercard at the Principality Stadium.
Speaking to The Sun on what could be next for the 35-year-old, Clarke said: “There’s a couple of names being floated along and thrown my way.
"Joseph Parker’s one of them, and that’s something that I said yes to.
"It’s gone a bit quiet now; I’ve not heard much about it, so it could still be there, could not be.
“But that’s a massive fight for me. He’s a huge name, great fighter, good friend of mine.”
Parker has been out of the ring since it was revealed that he tested positive for a banned substance around the time of his TKO defeat against Wardley in October 2025, but the 34-year-old has had his suspension lifted and prepares for a return to the ring.
The New Zealander boasts an impressive resume, with more recent wins against the likes of Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder, and would prove a sizeable step up for Clarke off the back of his victory over Griggs.
Clarke recalled fighting Parker in the amateurs, where he fell short against the former world heavyweight champion.
He said: "He’s got one over me in the amateurs.
“He won on a split. I think I blew a gasket. I was young, and he was young as well, but he was more of an athlete than I was back then, and it’s a close fight.
“I’ve got it on the phone. That fight, I need to get one back."
