Vitor Pereira arrived at the club in February and he was successfuly able to lead the club to safety and the semi-finals of the Europa League.
The club are looking to add some quality this summer in a bid to challenge for European football and the potential capture of Frattesi would be an ecellent acquisition.
Frattesi possesses the ability to contribute in both defensive and attacking phases of play, which is something that Forest will be keen to tap into if they lose Elliot Anderson this summer.
He is a creative box-to-box midfielder who can both dictate play and arrive late in the box, while he also remains part of the national team set-up.
Owner Evangelos Marinakis will be demanding a better season next year and securing players of Frattesi's level would help towards that.
