The regular season of the NFL has concluded and the field is now confirmed for what is set to be an enthralling battle to reach the Super Bowl in California next month.
The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos booked their passage to the divisional round as the number one seeds in the NFC and AFC respectively,
The remaining 12 teams will contest the wild card round and there are a number of mouth-watering matchups in store, including a mammoth showdown between NFC North foes Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field, while the defending champions Philadelphia Eagles face the San Francisco 49ers at Lincoln Financial Field.
For the first time since 2014, the postseason will not include Andy Reid and his Kansas City Chiefs, with their AFC West rivals the Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers picking up the baton.
However, a more familiar franchise is back in the playoff picture with the New England Patriots making their first postseason appearance since 2021.
