Philadelphia Eagles v Dallas Cowboys Prediction, Tips and Bet Builder

Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are both badly out of form heading into their NFC East match-up at Lincoln Financial Field on Monday night and their desperation to turn things around could lead to an intense contest.

The Cowboys have slipped to 2-4 by suffering consecutive losses to Buccaneers and Packers, while the wheels have really fallen off for the Eagles, who won their first two games this season but have since suffered four successive defeats.

Philadelphia Eagles v Dallas Cowboys Prediction

Best Bet: Over 43.5 points @ 25/28

The Eagles facing the Cowboys on Monday night looked like an ideal primetime fixture at the start of the season with the teams expected to contend for the NFC East title, but they have arrived at their Week 7 meeting in poor shape.

The home side are on a four-game losing streak and have seen their roster devastated by injuries, with starting quarterback Jalen Hurts on injured reserve due to blood clots and Tanner McKee preparing to make his second start.

The Cowboys may not find it easy to take advantage of their rivals' issues as they are also 2-4 and head coach Brian Schottenheimer is under pressure to turn things around after back-to-back losses.

Dallas will have few excuses if they can't win, but they are hard to trust as 4.5-point favourites after losing their last two games by eight and 10 points and taking the game to go over 43.5 points is preferred.

The Cowboys tend to play in high-scoring games with four of their six match-ups this season going over and their two wins this season came by scores of 37-20 and 34-30.

They have plenty of offensive weapons but their defence has been awful and even the depleted Eagles should have some success against them.

Alternative Bet: Dallas Goedert over 48.5 receiving yards @ 20/23

Tight end Dallas Goedert is a reliable performer for the Eagles when he is available and, with the team's top two wide receivers unavailable for this game, he could be a key outlet for quarterback McKee.

Goedert has missed two games due to injury himself this season, but returned to action with six receptions for 61 yards against the Panthers last week, when only DeVonta Smith had more receiving yards.

The Cowboys rank third-worst in the NFL for yards allowed per game this season and Goedert should be able to make his mark on the contest.

Philadelphia Eagles v Dallas Cowboys Bet Builder Tip

  • Javonte Williams anytime touchdown scorer

  • Ryan Flournoy over 34.5 receiving yards

  • Tanner McKee over 199.5 passing yards

  • Zach Baun over 7.5 tackles and assists

    Pays 29/4

Begin a four-leg bet builder on this NFC East match-up by taking Dallas running back Javonte Williams to add to his tally of seven rushing touchdowns this season.

He has reached the end zone in each of his last four appearances, scoring six times in all in those outings.

Ryan Flournoy gets far fewer headlines than the Cowboys' top two receivers, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, but he plays a key role and after posting 37, 90 and 40 receiving yards in his last three games, he can go over 34.5 again.

Eagles QB McKee managed 215 passing yards on his first start this season against Carolina and now faces one of the weakest defences in the league, so he can reach the 200-mark again.

Philly linebacker Zach Baun could be busy trying to slow down Williams and the Cowboys' running game and he can register at least eight tackles and assists, having done so in three of his five games this year.
