The National Football League has announced that Dublin will host Ireland's first NFL regular season match in 2025.
In an historic agreement, the Irish capital will accompany London, Madrid and Berlin on the International Series calendar as the NFL accelerates its global expansion.
Here's everything you need to know as the pinnacle of American Football visits the Emerald Isle for a landmark competitive fixture.
The date of the regular season match in Dublin will be announced this spring, coinciding with the release of the regular season schedule.
The NFL match in Dublin will be held at Croke Park, the principal national stadium of Ireland and the home of the Gaelic Athletic Association.
Following the completion of a major redevelopment in 2005, the venue can accommodate 82,300 spectators, making it the fourth-largest stadium in Europe.
Croke Park hosted an NFL preseason match between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chiacgo Bears in 1997.
Dublin's other notable sporting stadia - the Aviva Stadium - has been the venue for multiple college football matches in the last decade.
It's been confirmed that the Pittsburgh Steelers will be the host team in Dublin.
The Steelers have long-standing ties to the Emerald Isle and the six-time Super Bowl winners are in partnership with the GAA.
A Steelers spokesperson said: "The Steelers are excited and honoured to play in the NFL's first ever regular season game in Ireland.
"We're excited to represent our hometown of Pittsburgh internationally and play in front of a growing number of Steelers fans abroad.
"This announcement builds off our deep connections to the island and charts a path forward to what we feel is a very exciting future for the Steelers in Ireland."
Pittsburgh's opponents will be revealed upon release of the regular season schedule.
Ticket sale dates and prices are to be confirmed in due course, although tickets are not expected to be available until the summer.
