After finishing the 2024/25 season as EFL Cup champions and securing a UEFA Champions League spot, last season was one of Newcastle United's best in their history.
This success has largely come down to the brilliance of manager Eddie Howe, as well as the significant financial investment from Newcastle United's Saudi Arabian owners.
The Tyneside club reportedly spent around £95,175,600 on wages in the 2024/25 season, which saw them finish fifth in the Premier League and reclaim a spot in the UEFA Champions League, as well as win their first trophy in over 70 years.
That figure now stands at £144,560,000.
