Brentford are set to be without centre-back Nathan Collins until after the international break following an injury sustained in Brentford's 1-1 draw with Sunderland at the weekend.
The club captain has started the new Premier League season in fine form, with the Bees picking up five points from their opening three league fixtures.
The 25-year-old was forced off after 17 minutes of Brentford's match against Sunderland at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Manager Keith Andrews has confirmed that the Republic of Ireland international has a calf strain, which is an untimely blow for the club after their encouraging start.
We've taken a look at the earliest possible date that Collins could return to first-team action for Brentford.
Collins is set to be out of action until after the international break, meaning that he will miss this weekend's trip to Bournemouth, the EFL Cup tie at Reading and the visit of Chelsea on 18th September.
The earliest return date for Collins is likely to be the trip to Aston Villa in the Premier League on 10th October.
However, the exact timeline will depend on the severity of the calf strain he has suffered.
Whilst the fixture at Villa Park is the best case scenario, a bigger calf problem could rule him out until later next month.
Andrews will be hoping that summer signing Jannik Schuster can continue to deputise in the meantime after he made his debut for the club on Saturday.
