Diamond Necklace (8/13) is bidding to give Aidan O'Brien a third consecutive victory in the Nassau Stakes.
The Master of Ballydoyle has taken the last two renewals with Whirl and Opera Singer respectively and will take his overall total to seven if his St Mark's Basilica filly justifies favouritism in Thursday's feature contest.
She's currently five from five in her career, winning the Prix Marcel Boussac as a juvenile and has so far delivered on that promise at three by pulling off a brilliant French Oaks and Derby double.
On paper, her biggest danger looks to be the classy Friendly Soul (3/1). Although you have to take a trip back to 2024 to find her peak form, John & Thady Gosden's charge put up a fantastic performance in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes to be beaten two-and-quarter-lengths by subsequent Falmouth winner Blue Bolt.
See The Fire (9/2) also has a big chance in this small field affair, even if she was below par at Royal Ascot. In her defence, she wouldn't have been expected to win the Prince Of Wales' Stakes up against the likes of Ombudsman and Daryz, however, she is a better filly than the 15-length margin of defeat that day.
Connections of Botagoz (14/1) will be hopeful of a big run after they paid a hefty £40,000 supplementary fee to give their improving filly a shot at Group 1 glory. She was only tried once at two and, having won two of her three starts this season, is very unexposed.
Her trainer Roger Varian will be delighted with the way that the race cut up, given she now only has to beat one rival home to net north of £64,000 and make a return on the amount paid to supplement her.
