Despite boasting a rich history domestically, and winning the UEFA Cup by defeating Stuttgart in the 1989 final - Napoli were relative latecomers to Europe's premier cup competition.
The club made their made appearance in 1987 when they were knocked out in the first round by Real Madrid, and only qualified on one other occasion before the group stage format was introduced.
As such, all of the players to feature in the list of top ten appearance makers in the UEFA Champions League for Napoli featured for the club in the last two decades.
Of those, Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski stands above the rest with 41 appearances between 2016/17 and 2023/24.
Zielenski is joined on the list by his former team-mate Dries Merten, who turned out 34 times for the club in the Champions League.
The Belgian forward also holds the distinction for having scored the most goals for Napoli in the competition with 16.
