The UEFA Champions League is the elite level club competition in Europe, featuring some of the greatest players in the game each season.

Indeed, the player with the second most appearances in the history of the UEFA Champions League is former Real Madrid stopper Iker Casillas, who accumulated an impressive 177 during his illustrious playing career.
Here we list the goalkeepers who have kept the most clean sheets in the history of the UEFA Champions League.
The aforementioned Casillas is without a doubt one of the greatest goalkeepers in the history of European football, however he doesn't top this list, with that honour going to former Bayern Munich and Germany keeper Manuel Neur.
Casillas isn't far behind though, sitting in second place ahead of legendary Italian stopper Gianluigi Buffon.
European goalkeepers dominate the list, with the first non-European appearing in seventh position, in the form of former Brazil and AC Milan keeper Dida, who won the competition twice during his career.
