British heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma will continue his ascent up the ranks when he takes on Filip Hrgovic at the O2 Arena in August.
In just 14 professional fights Itauma has earned a reputation as arguably the biggest talent to emerge in boxing's glamour division in the last decade.
At just 21 years old Itauma has already emerged as a genuine contender in the division, and in March he knocked out heavyweight stalwart Jermaine Franklin, something both Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte failed to do.
On Thursday Sky Sports Boxing revealed that Itauma's next test will come in the form of top contender Hrgovic on 29 August.
The showdown is set to take place at the O2 Arena in London, where Itauma stopped Mariusz Wach within two rounds in July 2024 to announce himself on the world stage.
While Itauma has been tipped for greatness Hrgovic represents by far the most difficult test of his burgeoning career.
Hrgovic turned pro following a decorated amateur career that saw him win the 2015 European championships and collect bronze at the Rio Olympics the following year.
In his 21 fights in the paid ranks Dubois has suffered just a single defeat - an eighth-round TKO loss to current world champion Daniel Dubois in 2024.
The 34-year-old Queensberry standout is currently riding a three-fight win streak against British opposition and scored victories over Joe Joyce and David Adeleye last year.
In his most recent outing Hrgovic overwhelmed Dave Allen at the Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster, stopping the popular heavyweight in three rounds before restating his ambition to become the first Croatian ever to win a heavyweight title.
