After stopping Dariush in Perth in April, Salkilld got on the mic and asked for this fight in what was a calculated call out.
Salkilld possesses an advantage on the feet, both in speed and creativity and is likely to use knees and elbows to deter Gamrot's entries and land a blow that leads to finish.
The Australian has a four and a half inch reach advantage and can work the distance well to further frustrate the Polish fighter.
Gamrot has struggled with Salkilld’s taller body type before; losing a split decision to Dan Hooker, while he just about came out on the right side of the same result against Jalin Turner.
Gamrot will look to grapple but while he could wear down Ribovics last time out, Salkilld has a strong grappling game of his own as well and has shown he can defend takedowns and has some serious offence of his own.
Salkilld has the momentum and although he remains tough opposition, it feels like Gamrot would have to roll back the years to avoid the inevitable here.
