Following their worst ever Premier League season in 2024/25, Manchester United have been looking for ways to decrease their over-inflated wage bill.
The club reportedly spent around £172,419,000 wages in the 2024/25 season, which saw them finish 15th in the Premier League, their worst ever season in the competition.
A five-time UEFA Champions League winner with Real Madrid, Casemiro's move to Manchester United was met with jubilation from fans, despite the hefty finances that saw the Brazilian become United's highest earner on £350,000 a week.
He is closely followed by Bruno Fernandes who takes home £300,000 per week.
In total Manchester United's current yearly wage bill stands at £207,935,000.
