Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a move for Leeds United goalkeeper Karl Darlow this summer.
The club have wasted little time taking stock of their goalkeeping options following the end of a successful 2025-26 season, and last week Tom Heaton agreed an one year extension to his existing deal.
However, with both Andre Onana and Altyar Bayindir seemingly set to depart he club this summer, a search is already underway for a goalkeeper to serve as Senne Lammens' understudy next season.
According to a report from The Athletic, United chiefs have earmarked Leeds' Darlow as a potential option.
Darlow's current deal is set to expire this summer, and while Leeds have offered him an extension, the chance to play UEFA Champions League football for the first time in his career could prove too good to turn down.
After playing second fiddle to Illan Meslier during his first two seasons at Elland Road, Darlow usurped Lucas Perri as the club's No 1 goalkeeper for the second half of last season and produced a number of solid performances as Daniel Farke's side ultimately finished a respectable 14th.
Should the Wales international opt to extend his stay in West Yorkshire, United are also reportedly keeping tabs on Sam Johnstone in their hunt for a back-up shot stopper.
Like Heaton, Johnstone emerged from the club's academy before leaving Old Trafford in search of first team football.
The 33-year-old made 12 appearances for Wolves last season as the club were relegated from the Premier League and has two years remaining on his current deal.
