Manchester United ended a nine-game winless run on Tuesday night, coming from 2-0 down to beat Roma 3-2 at Old Trafford.
United looked to be heading to a 10th game without a win when trailing 2-0 at half-time, with the hosts waiting until the 46th minute before registering a tame first shot on target of the encounter.
A fortuitous penalty, initially saved by Devis Vasquez from Bruno Fernandes, was converted at the second time of asking when retaken owing to encroachment.
A defensive error was capitalised on by Matheus Cunha who found himself in the right place at the right time in the 83rd minute to equalise, before the Brazilian lashed home an 86th minute winner to give Old Trafford some long overdue cheer.

Another of United's big improvers after the interval; extremely lucky to get a second bite of the cherry from the spot having had his initial spot kick saved. Fortunate his cross for United's equaliser found Cunha.

Quiet for the most part, but won the penalty, found himself in the right place at the right time for the equaliser and lashed home a superb winner before a clumsy sending off.
