When did Manchester United last win a Premier League game?

Manchester United’s woes worsened when they fell to a 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

It’s an all too familiar story at Old Trafford, with the pressure mounting on Michael Carrick after a dismal start to the 2026/27 campaign.

While Man Utd heavily invested in the midfield during the summer transfer window -- signing Carlos Baleba, Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos -- their inability to add quality in other areas of the pitch has left them short, much to the frustration of supporters, and even Lisandro Martinez, who called out the board following their 2-0 loss to Atletico de Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

Bruno Fernandes became the latest to take aim in a post-match press conference after their humiliating 4-1 defeat against Como, this time criticising manager Carrick’s tactical setup, and he was an unused substitute in their subsequent drubbing against Bournemouth.

As their wait for a Premier League win goes on, we take a look at the last time that the Red Devils clinched all three points in the top-flight.

When did Manchester United last win a Premier League game?

Manchester United's last Premier League win came against Ipswich Town on 30th August, where they won 5-2.

Ipswich took the lead through Leif Davis in the 29th minute, but a hat-trick from Bruno Fernandes, own-goal by Jacob Greaves and goal from Bryan Mbeumo put Carrick's side 5-1 up, before Chuba Akpom scored a consolation for the visitors in stoppage time.

Since defeating Gary O'Neil's side, they've drawn to Everton, Fulham, Tottenham and Leeds Untied and lost against Manchester City and Bournemouth in the top-flight.

Their only win in all competitions since beating Ipswich came against Sabah in the UEFA Champions League -- where they won 4-0 -- but European losses against Atleti and Como followed, while they were also knocked out of the EFL Cup by Brighton.
