Manchester City's 2026/27 UEFA Champions League opponents

Manchester City have learned their eight league phase opponents for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League following the completion of the draw.

For the first time in a decade, City will enter the UEFA Champions League without Pep Guardiola at the helm after the legendary manager stepped down from his position at the end of the previous campaign.

His successor, Enzo Maresca, certainly has big shoes to fill as he prepares the Citizens for their 16th consecutive season in Europe's premier competition.

The change in the dugout is not the only key area to undergo a makeover at the Etihad Stadium this summer and City have revamped their midfield options, with Elliot Anderson and Ayyoub Bouaddi being acquired to replace two instrumental figures in Rodri and Bernardo Silva.

A powerhouse on the continental scene, City were one of three Premier League clubs to feature in Pot 1 for the UEFA Champions League draw alongside Arsenal and Liverpool.

Maresca's side have been drawn against two teams from each of the four pots. Four of the fixtures will be played at home and the other four are played away.

City's full schedule will be published by UEFA on Saturday.
