Real Madrid are the best-backed team to win the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League ahead of Thursday's draw.
Los Blancos often feel like the team to beat in Europe regardless of their domestic form; indeed, they've reached the semi-finals in 12 of the last 16 seasons, contesting six finals and winning all of them, and the appointment of Jose Mourinho has done little to put punters off.
The Spanish giants are fifth favourites for the UEFA Champions League at 7/1, behind Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
PSG's price of 5/1, as the shortest-priced team in the market, suggests the UEFA Champions League will be particularly competitive this year, with six teams all priced at single figures.
The Parisians are the second-best backed side for European glory as they go in search of a hat-trick of titles, slightly ahead of Barcelona, bolstered by the addition of Rodri over the summer.
bet365's Steve Freeth said: "Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Manchester United occupy four of the top eight spots in the betting market. However, our customers are favouring the competition's record winners, Real Madrid, back-to-back winners PSG, alongside European heavyweights Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
"Arsenal, last season's losing finalists, currently sit fifth with 8.5% of pre-draw business, while the remaining Premier League sides are attracting less than 2%."
There are significant question marks around the remaining English sides. Manchester City could be facing a transitional season following the departure of Pep Guardiola, as well as midfield lynchpin Rodri, while Liverpool are adjusting to new manager Andoni Iraola, who's overseeing his first-ever season of European football.
Manchester United, returning to the European elite, suffered a huge setback when losing to Hull City in the opening weekend of the Premier League, suggesting much work is needed before they can compete with the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, while Aston Villa appear to be in free-fall following the departures of Ezri Konsa, Youri Tielemans, Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins.
