Manchester City extended their winning start to the new Premier League season by beating Sunderland 5-3 in an enthralling game at the Etihad Stadium.
The hosts took the lead through Enzo Fernandez's ninth-minute free-kick, before Brian Brobbey equalised for Sunderland three minutes later.
Rayan Cherki restored City's lead on the half-hour mark, but Brobbey again levelled proceedings shortly after.
Two goals from Antoine Semenyo either side of the interval made things comfortable for Enzo Maresca's side until Brobbey grabbed his hat-trick on the hour.
Erling Haaland made sure of the victory nine minutes from time and ensured that the Cityzens are top of the Premier League heading into the international break.
