Check out MMA expert Adam Catterall's latest tips and predictions for the UFC 330 co-main event between Mackenzie Dern vs Gillian Robertson on Saturday night.
Mackenzie Dern to win by Submission in Round 4 - 14/1
After transitioning into mixed martial arts so one of the most decorated female submission grapplers of all time Mackenzie Dern finally achieved her ambition of winning UFC gold with a decision over Virna Jandiroba for the vacant title.
While she was once solely reliant on her grappling skills Dern has worked diligently with famed coach Jason Parillo to develop her striking and has become a much more well-rounded fighter as a result.
At the Xfinity Mobile Arena this weekend Dern faces a fighter who similarly has enjoyed much of her success on the mat over the years, Gillian Robertson.
The Savage signed with the UFC just one year after turning pro and has been one of the most exciting talents at 115lbs, with the joint-most finishes in UFC women's history.
However, according to MMA expert Adam Catterall Robertson is likely to find herself outgunned inside the Octagon.
"We've got 25 minutes for this fight to play out and I think there will be opportunities for Mackenzie to find those submissions that she is so good at." Catterall said on bet365 Cageside.
"Even though Gillian Robertson is savvy and has only ever been submitted once inside the UFC I think she might fall short in rounds four and five.
"I think we're going to get a competitive fight for 15 minutes, it'll be nip it'll be tuck it'll be very very tight, but Mackenzie Dern will remain the champion and she'll do it with a signature submission victory.
"Probably round number four, that's where I'm going."
