Manchester City take to the pitch for the first time since being found guilty of 114 of the 115 charges levelled at them by the Premier League when facing Liverpool on Sunday.
Liverpool have been one of the most affected clubs by the verdict, having finished runners-up to City in the 2013/14 Premier League season, as well as vying with them for titles throughout the Pep Guardiola era, and the atmosphere at Anfield is expected to be hostile to say the least.
Liverpool aren't the only club facing injury worries after the international break. Jeremy Jacquet left the France squad with a hamstring complaint while Cody Gakpo and, more concerningly, Alexander Isak, were also sent home from international duty with the pair ruled out of Sunday's game.
As such, Bradley Barcola and Victor Munoz are expected to line up on the wings, with Lewis Koumas potentially handed his first Premier League start.
Ronaldo Araujo was a late return from Uruguay, but didn't play against India and Andoni Iraola may look to the loanee to start at right-back over Jeremie Frimpong given City's attacking prowess. Araujo's fellow South American Alexis Mac Allister played against Benin on Tuesday and may be left on the bench for a midfield duo of Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Giovanni Leoni is stepping up his recovery from an ACL injury but isn't ready for first-team duties, while Conor Bradley and Hugo Ekitike remain long-term absentees.
For the visitors, they'll be without the suspended Phil Foden, though Erling Haaland, who requested to be taken off for Norway in their final Nations League game, was described as 'good' by Enzo Maresca and is expected to start. So too Antoine Semenyo, who missed the international break.
Nico O'Reilly was another casualty over the international break, being sent home from England duty, and even if he is fit to start, Enzo Maresca may look for the more defensive-minded Josko Gvardiol to slot in at left-back.
On the other side of defence, Abdukodir Khusanov may be called upon for his pace when up against the Reds' flying wingers.
