Leeds United have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Michael Zetterer.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg confirmed the news of the imminent transfer on his official X account.
"EXCL | Michael Zetterer to Leeds United - DONE DEAL.
"Full agreement reached with Eintracht Frankfurt for a permanent transfer. Fee: €5m.
"Leeds improved their financial offer. Zetterer has said yes and is set to become Leeds United’s new No. 2. Medical today. Contract planned until 2029."
The 31-year-old will provide competition for summer signing James Trafford in the goalkeeping department.
Illan Meslier and Karl Darlow have already left Elland Road since the end of last season, while Lucas Perri looks set to follow suit.
Zetterer is an experienced goalkeeper who has played at the top level in both Germany and the Netherlands.
He joined Frankfurt from Werder Bremen last summer and featured on 22 occasions in the Bundesliga last season.
