He faces fierce competition in The Big Apple, with Luke Littler, Gian van Veen and Gerwyn Price amongst the PDC representatives looking to dethrone Cool Hand.
Fan favourite Leonard Gates -- who made his third World Darts Championship in December 2025 -- is amongst the American representatives looking to make history at the Infosys Theatre.

Best Bet: Luke Little To Win Outright @ 13/10
While often World Series events can be difficult to call, Littler seemingly has a burning desire to win every time he steps up to the oche, and I expect him to be no different in New York.
He crashed out of the competition to Nathan Aspinall in the quarter-finals in 2025, but his side of the draw this time round points towards a relatively comfortable run to the final.
Should he overcome Canada's David Cameron in the first round -- which I expect him to do so convincingly -- Josh Rock is his likely quarter-final opponent, while James Wade or Gerwyn Price could await him in the semi-finals.
Winning nine of his last nine contests against Rock, seven of his last eight against Wade and nine of his last nine against Price, it's hard to see a world in which Littler isn't on the final stage at the Infosys Theatre.
He heads into the event off the back of winning the World Cup alongside Humphries, where, on occasions, he showed nerves of steel to spur England onwards.
When success comes as often as it does for Littler, it's near impossible to bet against him and I fancy him to add the bet365 US Darts Masters to his growing list of accolades.
Alternative Bet: Jonny Clayton To Win Outright @ 17/2
While I do expect The Nuke to come out on top in The States, Clayton is one of few players who -- on his day -- I believe can challenge Littler.
The Ferret has enjoyed an impressive 2026 thus far, accumulating four nightly wins on his return to the Premier League before crashing out of the competition on finals night to Luke Humphries.
He thrived in an 11-leg format throughout the Premier League campaign, and it's for that reason that I can see him making the final of the US Darts Masters.
His scoring power and efficient checkout rate holds him in good stead to overcome the likes of Humphries, Van Veen and Bunting -- all of whom are on the same side of the draw as Clayton.
I anticipate Littler getting the job done in the event that the two do meet in the final, but Clayton's 17/2 price can't be sniffed at given his more recent preference for shorter format contests.
