Check out the latest transfer odds on Julian Alvarez's next club as the Atletico Madrid hit-man continues to be linked with a move away from the Metropolitano Stadium.

The Argentinean ace has excelled in the Spanish capital since joining from Manchester City a couple of years ago in an £81 million deal, netting ten times in the UEFA Champions League last season alone.

His goalscoring pedigree has caught the attention of numerous clubs around the continent, including La Liga giants Barcelona, who have already lodged a €100 million bid for the 26-year-old.

However, their offer was publicly mocked by Atletico on their official social media channels and it's understood they will demand around €140 million to part ways with their leading goalscorer this summer.

Barca are not the only club credited with an interest in Alvarez though, with Real Madrid, PSG and Arsenal, together with former club Manchester City, all reportedly weighing-up moves.

Despite seeing their initial bid rebuffed, Barcelona are the favourites to sign Alvarez this summer.

The La Liga champions made contact with Atletico last month over a possible deal as the club accelerate their recruitment drive as they look to further strengthen their stranglehold on the domestic scene, whilst re-establishing themselves as UEFA Champions League contenders.

However, Atleti's hefty valuation of Alvarez is likely to be a stumbling block, with the Catalan giants having to carefully watch their summer outlay following the big-money capture of England star Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United.

Paris Saint-Germain have a strong interest in Alvarez too, and could look to capitalise on their second successive UEFA Champions League winning campaign, whilst Real Madrid and former club Manchester City are also viable options.

Arsenal, still at a big price however, are expected to step up their interest in the coming weeks if media reports are to be believed, with Mikel Arteta keen to bring in another proven frontman during the transfer window to further enhance his side's top line credentials.
