IPL Records: Most runs conceded in an innings

The Indian Premier League has often seen bat dominate ball since the inaugural season of the competition in 2008.

We've compiled a list of the bowlers that have been on the receiving end and conceded the most runs in an IPL innings.

Jofra Archer - 76 runs conceded

Jofra Archer moved to the very top of the list as he went for 19 runs an over in his opening game of the 2025 campaign.

The Englishman broke the record as Sunrisers Hyderabad racked up a huge IPL total of 286-3 against Rajasthan Royals.

Mohit Sharma - 73 runs conceded

Mohit Sharma topped the list for the most expensive spell in IPL history prior to the 2025 season as he conceded 73 runs against Delhi Capitals last April.

Basil Thampi - 70 runs conceded

Basil Thampi received some harsh treatment from Royal Challengers Bengaluru as he went for 70 runs from his 24 balls in 2018.

Yash Dayal - 69 runs conceded

Yash Dayal conceded 69 runs in his four overs against Kolkata Knight Riders in Ahmedabad back in April 2023.

Reece Topley - 68 runs conceded

The batting power of Sunrisers Hyderabad was in evidence once again as English bowler Reece Topley went for 68 runs from his four overs during the 2024 season.
