Reaching a century in the Indian Premier League is an achievement in itself but several batters have blitzed their way to a hundred in extraordinary fashion.

We've witnessed multiple quickfire centuries in the IPL, and we've looked at the fastest below.

Chris Gayle - 30 balls

Pune Warriors were subject to Gayle storm winds during the 2013 IPL season as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru opener smashed 17 sixes and 13 fours to reach his century in just 30 balls.

It was the fastest T20 century ever recorded until Sahil Chauhan reached a hundred from 27 balls in an international clash between Estonia and Cyprus in 2024.

Yusuf Pathan - 37 balls

Yusuf Pathan's sensational 37-ball ton for the Rajasthan Royals in 2010 remains the fastest IPL century by an Indian player.

Despite his blistering knock which saw him clear the ropes eight times, Pathan still ended up on the losing team as the Royals fell four runs short of the Mumbai Indians' total.

David Miller - 38 balls

Australia's David Miller assembled a sensational innings for Punjab Kings in 2013 as he reached his century in just 38 balls against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

His knock resurrected Kings XI from 64-4 to a remarkable six-wicket win as they conquered a Royal Challengers side who had posted the fifth-highest tournament total at the time.
