Inter legend Julio Cesar attends bet365's UEFA Champions League final Big Ticket Giveaway

bet365 celebrated its first year as an Official Global Partner of the UEFA Champions League in Munich over the weekend, where it hosted its final Big Ticket Giveaway Game to fans at the iconic Isarpost building in Munich’s bustling city centre.

This season, bet365 has given away more than 2,600 UEFA Champions League tickets as part of their Big Ticket Giveaway Games, both online and in-person at activations in London and Munich. Ahead of the final between Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, attendees had the chance to take part in a live odds experiential predictor game which offered winners the chance to win one of eight pairs of tickets for the following days showpiece final.

As part of the celebrations, bet365 were joined by former UEFA Champions League winner Júlio César. The legendary Inter Milan and Brazil keeper, who won the competition in 2009-10, was on stage to give a helping hand to players, as well as speaking to media and meeting with fans.

Commenting on the activation, Júlio César said: “Wow, what an incredible event from bet365. A huge congratulations to everyone for putting on such a great celebration of the UEFA Champions League.

“I was lucky enough to play in a final with Internazionale, so giving fans the chance to play the Big Ticket Giveaway and attend the biggest game in club football made me so happy.

bet365 Global Deputy Head of Brand Ben Reeves said: “As we approached the epic climax of our first season as an official global partner of the UEFA Champions League, we wanted to celebrate by bringing our Big Ticket Game to Munich, where fans were flocking ahead of Saturday’s showpiece final.

“Having given away more than 2,600 tickets this season, we wanted to finish the season on a high by giving fans one final chance to experience the magic of the UEFA Champions League and prove again why it’s Never Ordinary at bet365.

“A huge thank you to Júlio César, our hosts, and to all our amazing partners who brought the Big Ticket Game to life.”

Throughout the season, bet365 hosted a ballot on its website giving fans across the continent to win free tickets to the biggest and best club matches during the new UEFA Champions League phase format and all knockout matches.

bet365 PR Operations Manager Jon Riley added: “It was great to activate our Big Ticket Giveaway in Munich, the setting for some of the most iconic moments in UEFA Champions League history.

Of the eight winners on the night, bet365 had fans of both Inter Milan and Paris Saint Germain with some attendees travelling as far as Brazil and New York for the chance to play.

One winner Rodrygo, a Brazilian football fan now living in Munich, added: “I was so happy to win! I saw the advertising in the city in the morning and was excited to queue up and play.

“I’m not sure how I managed to correctly predict all four answers, I think Júlio César was a big help. Thank you bet365!”
