Hull City have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Croatia international Marco Pasalic from Orlando City.
The Tigers have already endured a tumultuous start to the transfer window after narrowly avoiding a potential points deduction surrounding PSR regulations before sporting director Jared Dublin opted to leave the club following a breakdown in contract talks.
However, the newly-promoted Premier League club have began their summer rebuild in earnest with the signing of Jack Butland from Rangers, and it appears the goalkeeper will soon be joined by a fellow new arrival at the MKM Stadium.
Croatian outlet Index are reporting that Hull have agreed to sign Pasalic from Major League Soccer side Orlando City for a fee said to be around £6million.
The deal will see Pasalic reunited with Hull boss Sergej Jakirovic whom he worked under during their time at Croatian Football League club HNK Rijeka.
Jakirovic later departed Rijeka for Dinamo Zagreb, while Pasalic earned a move to MLS - joining Orlando City as a Designated Player on a three-year deal in February 2028.
In his maiden MLS season Palasic netted 15 times in 41 appearances in all competitions as the team reached the semifinals of the 2025 Leagues Cup.
In addition to his exploits at club level, the left-footed winger who is predominantly deployed on the right flank has also made an impression at international level, with 18 caps to his name since making his senior Croatia debut in 2023.
Pasalic started Croatia's win over Panama at this summer's World Cup in North America, and also featured off the bench in Group L games against England and Ghana as they ultimately were knocked out in the Round of 32.
