Wycombe Wanderers and Stevenage will get their 2026/27 campaigns underway when the pair lock horns in the first round of the EFL Cup on Friday evening.
The Chairboys enjoyed a run to the last 16 of the competition 12 months ago, seeing off Leyton Orient, Bromley and Wigan Athletic before being beaten by Premier League side Fulham on penalties.
Stevenage on the other hand bowed out in the opening round - succumbing to a 3-1 defeat against Charlton - before ending the campaign in the League Two play-offs, ultimately being denied of a spot in the showpiece Wembley final by Stockport County.
