Hoffenheim will look to turn their ailing season around when they play host to Besiktas on Thursday night.
After a respectable fifth-placed finish in the Bundesliga last season Christian Ilzer's side have endured a torrid start to the new campaign.
Domestically the club are currently slumped in the relegation zone and they were stunned by Greek side OFI in their Europa League opener last month.
Besiktas meanwhile kicked their European campaign off with an impressive 4-1 win over Marseille and the Super Lig side will look to build on that momentum when they travel to the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.
