The 2026/27 A-League Season kicks off with a Sydney Derby on Friday morning for UK viewers.
Sydney FC will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing Grand Final defeat at the hands of Auckland FC last season.
The Sky Blues have the most championship wins in Australia -- with four premierships to boot -- and they look primed to challenge once again.
Western Sydney Wanderers, on the other hand, propped up the A-League table last term after some dismal form throughout the campaign.
Some decent looking transfer business and a host of encouraging pre-season results will have them feeling quietly confident that they can mix it with the mid-table sides this time out though.
