Sunderland get their UEFA Europa League campaign underway against Dutch side AZ Alkmaar this evening.
The Black Cats qualified for the Europa League courtesy of an excellent first season back in the Premier League, with Regis Le Bris' side finishing seventh in the top-flight.
Sunderland have picked up four points from their opening four league games this time around and Le Bris will now have to juggle the additional workload that European football provides.
First up is an AZ outfit who have started the new season on fire with five wins and a draw from their six Eredivisie fixtures.
