Hajduk Split host European heavyweights Ajax as the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League campaign gets underway on Thursday.
The Dutch giants are one of the most revered clubs on the continent, but will be plying their trade in the third-tier of European football for the first time after finishing fifth in the Eredivisie last term.
They are amongst the favourites to reign supreme in the competition but will be wary of a potential opening gameweek banana-skin in the shape of their Croatian opponents who currently sit at the summit of their domestic league and haven't been beaten on home soil in six months.
