The UEFA Conference League was introduced in the 2021/22 season as a third-tier European competition.

It gives chances to clubs from lower-ranked UEFA member countries to claim European glory.

There has only been five winners of the competition, coming from three different nations (Italy, England (x3) and Greece).

Crystal Palace are the most recent winners of the competition, beating Rayo Vallecano 1-0 in the 2026 final.
