Crystal Palace face a stern test when they travel to Istanbul to face a Besiktas side that have won their opening two in the Europa League this season.
Pierre Sage's men opened their Europa League account with a 4-0 battering of Lech Posnan of Poland, but couldn't kick on as they fell to a 3-2 defeat in Lyon a month later.
They are struggling to get going in the Premier League too, currently occupying 14th spot with two wins from their opening seven.
Besiktas thrashed Marseille 4-1 in matchweek one and followed it up with an impressive 2-3 win away at Hoffenheim.
Vincenzo Italiano has them sitting fourth in the Turkish Super Lig, with five wins out of eight leaving them four points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
