Ajax begin their pre-season preparations when they take on Greek side Panathinaikos in a friendly match on Saturday afternoon.
After finishing fifth last season, Ajax will be looking to build some momentum ahead of what they hope will be a far better campaign.
Ajax will also play friendlies against the likes of VfL Bochum, Olympiacos and Burnley this summer, while they are also in UEFA Conference League qualifying action this month before their league campaign gets underway.
This weekend's opponents Panathinaikos will also be looking for improvements after finishing fourth in their domestic league last season.
Their pre-season schedule got off to a winning start on Wednesday as they recorded a 4-0 victory against Dutch side Helmond Sport.
