Tyson Fury is set for yet another bumper payday when he returns to the ring against Arslanbek Makhmudov at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night.
While the Gypsy King has previously joked that he boxes for the financial benefits and not for legacy, he proclaimed that his return this time round is down to his passionate love for the sport, not because he needs it financially.
That's not to say that Fury won't make significant monetary gains from his 12-round bout with the Russian heavyweight, though it's suggested that the former two-time heavyweight champion seeks a potential trilogy fight with Oleksandr Usyk or an all-British bout with Anthony Joshua, both of which would prove significantly more lucrative.
With that said, we take a look at how much both Fury and Makhmudov will profit from their heavyweight showdown on 11th April.
Reports suggest that Tyson Fury is in line to earn a guaranteed purse of $25 million (£18.8m) for his heavyweight bout with Makhmudov.
The British star reportedly earned in excess of £150m for his two fights with Ukrainian pound-for-pound great Usyk in 2024, and while his cheque will fall significantly short of that this time round, £18.8m is not to be sniffed at in a fight that he is largely expected to win.
Reports indicate that Makhmudov will take home a purse of between $1.5 million to $3 million for this fight with Fury.
While this fee stands at $22m-$23.5m lower than what Fury will collect, he is still set to earn a career-high purse that eclipses the reported $350,000 gained from his unanimous decision victory over Dave Allen back in October 2025.
